The married couple Thore and Theresa have settled into their adult lives well. But when Thore's sister Swintha unexpectedly turns up and opens up the rifts that were thought to be buried, the facade begins to crumble. Theresa, who grew up in desolate conditions without a family, is not the only one struggling with childhood trauma. The "perfect family" that Thore and Swintha come from was in fact strictly governed by ethnic ideologies. And what actually happened to their younger brother Friedo?
